The Most Beautiful Affair

I think crushes are the best things that can happen to you. No, really think about it- no emotional attachments, no heartbreaks, no awkwardness, no "why were you talking to that guy?", no"why didn't you call?" and the list is endless.
It's the best kind of relationship you can have with somebody. You can imagine the person to be as handsome as George Clooney, as sweet as 'Ross' from Friends, as humorous as Jim Carrie while being as heroic as Spiderman. In your mind, you can concoct a perfect potion for yourself of a suitable mate. It's like a free delicious buffet ;) Day and night you dream about this individual in your tiny head imagining all sorts of possibilities. The excited pounding of your heart against your chest when you catch a glimpse of your crush, the moment your crush utters a word to you and you feel you're going to drop dead on the floor are heady encounters succeeded by sleepless nights.

And to think all of it is due to a hormone named dopamine. Endorphins, whereas gives one a feeling of happiness, a feeling of being loved (which is result of 'falling in love' after enduring numerous obstacles, of course) Hence, I feel dopamine is a cheaper bargain!
The world seems brighter, a shade lighter. See! This what it does, it makes you rhyme! The code-name keeping, the giggling to the entangled knots in the stomach; crushing is a joyride. No sadness whatsoever, just stare and smile. This is an ode to the fluttering dopamine-induced butterflies in my stomach and I hope they stay forever. Cheers!
